So, this time I took these pictures of a bird stopping on a wire. This bird looks brave but at the same time looks sleepy. Some of his friends were flying somewhere else, so I just took this one.
Actually, I’m still questioning the name of this bird. Cause it’s looking like “Swallow” which in Indonesian it’s “Burung Walet“, “Burung” means “bird“. I was also thinking or maybe this is a “Sriti Bird” or “Burung Sriti” which some people call burung sriti as “Burung Walet Rumahan“. Both look similar and this bird looks just like one of them. If one of you knows what bird is this, please leave a comment, I would like to know about this bird.
I also think it’s a swallow, but I don’t know all the various species that occur in Indonesia. You should be able to do an internet search for swallows in your hometown, and it should give you a few options that your photo should help narrow down. Good luck.
Yes, I did a little online research about it, one of them usually has a longer tail. But I don’t have any comparison for these photos.
