The Traditional Market

This traditional market name is “Pasar Ngasem”. This traditional market located inside heritage area, it’s beside “Taman Sari” which also an interesting place to visit. Next time I will explain about that location, but for now let’s back to the traditional market again. In the morning, this market used as normal market which people sell vegetables, ingredients, stuff for the kitchen. And this traditional market sometimes used for some events related to culture like art, exhibition, dance, and etc. So this is not like permanent spot where the seller of traditional market can storage their stuff there, but they come, sell and clean again the place after finish. When an event started there, those spots that looking like “Gazebo” or small “Pendopo” can be used for each event spots like exhibition. So, in architecture this place has mixed use function which making it very useful as well.
